You don't want double sided since you have 2 copies of your object, so
turn it off. You shouldn't have merged points either, so you'll have
to unify polys, recopy, paste, flip all over again. Next, make the
inner copy slightly smaller than the original, using Size with a
factor of .999 will do the trick.

The last thing that may plague you is having shadows turned on with
your glass object, or something behind/inside it. Experiment
with/without shadows for the prism and what is behind/inside it.
Results will vary with light source/camera position.
